Billy Schwab

U.S. Veteran

WILLIAM "BILLY" SCHWAB died July 27, 2012 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 78. He was born on June 24, 1934 in Morganville Kansas, the son of William and Helen (Reed) Schwab.

Billy was raised in Morganville and graduated from Morganville High School in 1952. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He married Eva Sallman on September 4, 1955. He worked in the oil fields of west Texas for four years before returning to the Morganville area. Billy worked at the Morganville grain elevator and farmed for many years. He was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian, Clifton American Legion and Clyde VFW. He is preceded in death by a son, Jason, 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Survivors include:

Wife: Eva Schwab, Clifton, KS

Daughter: Sandy Schwab, Clifton, KS

Daughter: Penny McDonald, Merriam, KS

4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas.

Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder.

There will be no visitation

Memorials can be made to Clifton Community Care
